Unique once-in-a-lifetime item is the actual 70 year old Swiss bank vault grate, crafted with care in Switzerland from the finest steel known to man at the time and decorated in brass in Art Deco style.

Each door leaf is secured by 6 DIAMETER steel rod, 3 below the decorative central panel, and 3 above. The steel rods are not hollow and are very heavy. However, given the good hinges and fine construction standards, the grate can be opened and closed effortlessly, including by a lady.

The grate will be delivered with its original hinges which can be screwed on each side of your doorway. We have two copies of the key, which will be delivered in the original sealable bank security envelope.

Possible uses: Secure entrance to a wine cellar, a collector room. You may have a first door and then the Swiss bank vault grate. The grate can be closed or left open at all times and used as a decoration.
